Comparative Analysis of Rice Farming with Tabela and Tapin System in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency, Jambi Province

This study aimed to analyze the comparison of Tabela system rice farming with Tapin system. The research was conducted in East Tanjung Jabung Regency, Jambi Province. sample villages are Lagan Ulu Village and Simbur Naik Village. size 90 farmers, 45 farmers lowland farming, Sampling Simple Random Method. data analysis method used descriptive analysis, production function Cobb-Douglass Stochastic frontier, measure farmer behavior refers Kumbhakar X-square test. results explain that use inputs for two patterns is not significantly different except seeds. more responsive inputs. Farmers’ preferences risk takers. allocation urea fertilizer pesticides a averter, while seeds, NPK fertilizer, labor taker.
